Graduate Programs in Rhetoric, Writing and Culture

Students in the graduate programs in the Department of English design their own courses of study with emphases on Rhetoric, Writing and Culture, in consultation with the Director of Graduate Studies, the faculty in RWC, and their advisors. These programs typically contain coursework in the history of rhetoric, rhetorical criticism, the teaching of writing, new digital media, and literacy studies. In addition, they may contain courses in linguistics, folklore, communication studies, mass communication, and more.

NB: We need an official statement here. Also, on the English Graduate Studies page, RWC should be listed as one of the department's strengths. LBB
